The ice axe GLADIATOR is constructed for the modern style of ice climbing, dry-tooling and competition climbing.
The main advantage is a new geometry of the shaft uniquely shaped into the “S” and an anatomical rubber handle with a finger rest. That enables different types of a grip and leashless climbing. The “S” shape minimizes the cant of the ice axe when holding the pommel or above it. That enables a stable pick placement and comfortable ice axe holding during risky movements. GLADIATOR has strong and balanced construction.
It is not possible to be set up by hammer or adze for minimizing the danger of injury and lowering the weight.
This ice axe is not intended only for top climbers but also for everyone who wants to enjoy a goor feeling of ice climbing.
